Hold on to your every princess wedding dream. Boy, do we have a romantic wedding to share! Starting with a pale pink wedding gown, Jaclynn and Brian’s romantic Airlie Center wedding was full of fairytale details from start to finish. Located 50 miles outside of Washington, DC in the Virginia countryside, Airlie Center easily transports guests to a place filled with romance, history and charm.
Wearing a classic black tuxedo with bow tie, the groom’s attire was complemented by an elegant white rose boutonniere. Jaclynn dreamed of carrying an elegant cascade bouquet, which we designed for her using white peonies, mini-calla lilies, orchids, and roses paired with rich green ruscus foliages. Bridesmaids clothed in blush sequined gowns held foliage-forward posies accented with white garden roses. The details were out of a fairytale for this romantic Airlie Center wedding.
The bride’s vision for the wedding was something romantic, whimsical, and textured. Even though, the ceremony had to move indoors due to rain, we still accomplished just that with a stunning array of pink and white flowers, an elegant backdrop where the botanicals vined across the surface, and an aisle perfectly lined with pink roses. The backdrop created a romantic spot to exchange their vows. To honor her grandmother, a memorial was created on her seat of honor, incorporating lilac which was her favorite flower. Smilax graced the welcome sign at the entrance, lending a magical, fairytale feel to the romantic Airlie Center wedding nuptials.
The magical aesthetic continued right into the reception in the Pavillion, augmented with a touch of evening glam. Starting with a rose gold sequined linen on the sweetheart table, the table of honor was finished with a long and low design of roses, peonies, and stock in shades of white and blush. Guests found their place at either rectangle tables with rose gold sequined tabletops or elegant rounds dressed in classic cream linens. Each tablescape was exquisitely set with chargers, candles, and even touch of green for a napkin detail. Lush displays of white and blush hydrangea, stock, roses and ruscus filled gold mercury bowls for half the tables. Greenery garlands were tucked with wedding blooms and finished with glass-enclosed pillar candles were exquisitely set on the remaining long tables.
We’re not blushing. You’re blushing, for this romantic Airlie Center wedding!
