Retro 70s Wedding Vibe

Retro 70s Wedding Vibe

There’s something undeniably charming about a retro-inspired vibe, and when Casey Crowe Taylor approached us to design a few pieces to complement a bohemian 70s styled shoot, we knew daisies had to play a starring role. Daisies, the quintessential flower of the era, bring a fresh, carefree energy to any event, and when paired with fern and chamomile, they capture that effortless beauty every retroo bride dreams of.

For the styled shoot, we created a few standout pieces that embodied that 70s retro wedding style. The star of the show was the bride’s bouquet, a simple yet stunning arrangement of daisies and chamomile. The bouquet was finished with a collar of umbrella fern, which added a soft, organic touch to the overall look. This combination of flowers felt light and breezy, perfect for the bride’s vision of a casual but elegant bohemian celebration.

We didn’t stop at the bouquet! To complete the bride’s look, we added delicate chamomile accents in her hair. These little touches brought a natural and romantic feel to her overall style, making it an ideal choice for brides wanting a vintage 1970s wedding flower aesthetic.

Whether you’re planning a full retro-themed wedding or just want to add a nod to the 70s with your flower choices, incorporating daisies is a beautiful way to honor that era’s love of nature. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out, capturing the essence of a boho daisy wedding perfectly.

If you’re searching for a florist who can bring your vision of a 70s retro wedding to life, we’re here to help make your floral dreams come true!

Industrial spaces have a beauty of their own, but the right floral design can take them from warehouse to urban garden. 🌿✨

For Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding, we played with scale—tall magnolia branches to emphasize the height, lush florals to soften the space, and candlelight to add warmth. The result? An urban oasis that felt both grand and intimate.

1️⃣Go Big with Greenery – Tall magnolia branches brought height and movement to Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding

2️⃣ Mix Textures – Lush, low floral arrangements softened the industrial edges while keeping the space dynamic

3️⃣ Layer Candlelight – Warm glows + metal details = a romantic urban oasis

4️⃣ Frame Key Spaces – A floral garland on the head table grounded the design and added intimacy. Trees flanking the table took it to the next level

5️⃣ Contrast is Key – Pairing the raw, industrial elements with soft florals and organic details created the perfect balance

Not all green and white floral palettes are created equal. This one here will NEVER go out of style and is truly as timeless as they come! Magnolia, eucalyptus, rosemary, and delicate touches of white… Add velvet linens and gold touches, and we’re smitten... 😍
