Press Club Washington DC Wedding

As the autumn leaves began to turn in the heart of Washington, DC, the National Press Club opened its doors for a wedding that was the epitome of playful, autumnal enchantment. Christine and Denis’ wedding was a vibrant celebration of love, brimming with rich hues of burnt orange, toffee, and beige, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that captured the essence of fall.

The bride’s bouquet was a stunning array of Coffee Break, Toffee, and Quicksand roses, intertwined with champagne lisianthus and orange cymbidium orchids. Accents of burnt orange hypericum berries, chocolate cosmos, and scabiosa pods added depth and texture, while eucalyptus and smokebush foliage provided a lush backdrop. Wrapped in ivory satin, this French hand-tied bouquet was not just a floral arrangement, but a work of art.

In contrast, the groom’s boutonniere was a simple yet striking orange cymbidium orchid, complemented by smokebush foliage, perfectly mirroring the bouquet’s elegance. The groomsmen sported boutonnieres of cappuccino spray roses, tying the wedding party’s look together with subtle sophistication.

The ceremony was framed by a lush “deconstructed” arch of smilax foliage interspersed with roses in shades of burnt orange and toffee, Tusca cremons, peach stock, pampas grass, and curly willow tips, shaping an enchanting ring. This unique arch set the stage for a magical exchange of vows.

The reception decor was a testament to autumn’s bounty. Gold compotes overflowed with a textured mix of Toffee, Coffee Break, and Quicksand roses, complemented by ivory spray roses, chocolate cosmos, orange dahlias, cream stock, and scabiosa pods. The tablescape alternated between these lush arrangements and a playful combination of gold and glass hurricanes with highball bud vases, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Every detail of this wedding at the Press Club in Washington DC was thoughtfully curated to reflect the couple’s vision of a playful, autumnal, and enchanting day. From the warm color palette to the intricate floral designs, this event was not just a celebration of the couple’s love, but also a tribute to the beauty and richness of the season.

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
