Old Ebbitt Grill Wedding

Wedding couple bubble exit St. Katherine's Greek Orothodox Church in Falls Church

Get ready to be captivated by the mesmerizing tale of Kat and Jack and their Old Ebbitt Grill wedding. We invite you to immerse yourself in a world of eternal beauty and enchanting floral displays, boasting delightful hues of white, pink, and aqua. Let’s embark on this magical journey together!

Our story commences at the magnificent St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, where our bride Kat held an exquisite bouquet. Imagine a flawless, French hand-tied bouquet—a symbol of elegance and tradition. Crafted in classic white and blush tones, this bouquet featured a harmonious blend of blush garden roses, white roses, white stock, and blush spray roses, and delicate pale pink sweet peas. Adorned with crisscrossed ivory double-faced satin ribbon, it radiated sheer perfection.

The Maids of Honor, both beacons of grace, also carried bouquets straight out of a timeless fairy tale. Their bouquets in hues of white and blush complemented their role beautifully. The bridesmaids, too, held their own blooms, harmoniously blending white and blush tones. Each bouquet showcased an array of roses, spray roses, and stock, their stems elegantly wrapped with blush double-faced satin ribbon. These enchanting bouquets added a touch of sophistication to the bridal party, perfectly aligned with the wedding’s classic theme.

As guests entered the ceremony area, they were greeted by two striking altar arrangements, commanding attention with their sheer beauty. Majestic and resplendent, these arrangements showcased a splendid assortment of white hydrangeas, gladiolas, stock, snapdragons, and roses in hues of white and ivory. Textural accents of cocculus and salal added a captivating touch, framing the couple in a tapestry of floral elegance.

The celebration continued at the renowned Old Ebbitt Grill, where every detail radiated charm and romance. The escort card table served as the perfect prelude to the festivities, boasting a centerpiece that commanded attention. A tall glass pilsner vase held a lush, rounded design, featuring white hydrangeas, blush stock, ivory and blush roses, blush spray roses, and delicate white lisianthus. This captivating arrangement beckoned guests to embark on a night filled with joy and celebration.

Half of the guest tables exuded grandeur with their striking tall arrangements, perched atop classic fluted glass vases. These lavish designs showcased a resplendent combination of white hydrangeas, blush stock, ivory and blush roses, blush spray roses, and white lisianthus. Delicate touches of lemon leaf foliage and cascading crystals added an air of opulence, while LED votives in cut glass votive holders enveloped the scene in a soft, romantic glow.

The remaining guest tables were adorned with lush, rounded arrangements, evoking a sense of timeless beauty. Nestled in classic footed bowls, these arrangements featured a symphony of white hydrangeas, blush and ivory garden roses, blush spray roses, and blush stock. A subtle touch of lemon leaf foliage completed the elegant tableau. To enhance the ambiance, LED votives nestled in glass votive holders lent a warm and romantic glow.

And finally, the pièce de résistance—the sweetheart table. Positioned at the forefront, a long, low, and lush arrangement of wedding flowers cast a spellbinding aura. Composed of white and blush garden roses, blush roses and spray roses, and blush stock, it radiated pure romance. The flickering glow of LED votives in glass votive holders added a touch of magic, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the newlyweds.

At every turn, this Old Ebbitt Grill wedding was a testament to timeless elegance and everlasting love. Our meticulously crafted floral designs served as a magnificent backdrop, bringing joy to Kat, Jack and their cherished guests.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
