National Press Club Wedding

National Press Club Wedding

It was a great pleasure working with Adrianne and Mitch, and the always wonderful Michelle Taylor, of Michelle Taylor Events for this lovely October evening wedding at the National Press Club in downtown DC.

The details were perfectly aligned with the gorgeous purple, lavender and green flowers! Adrianne carried a bouquet of lavender roses and spray roses, purple lisianthus, stock, and tulips, finished with those gorgeous bi-colored Picasso calla lilies. The bridesmaids bouquets added touches of green cymbidium orchids and hypericum berries for a bight pop of color. Those green orchids made perfect boutonnieres for the guys as well!

The ceremony took place under our elegant silk crepe de chine chuppah, with the tall table centerpieces of spraying dendrobium orchids in purple, lavender and green set upon pillars along the aisle.

The table centerpieces were a mix of high and low designs, with the low centerpieces featuring flowers in shades of purple, lavender and green set in glass square or cylinder vases. For the dramatic escort card table arrangement, a orchid-covered manzanita branch was set in a moss covered base filled with a mound of wedding flowers. It was a gorgeous night!

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
