Jon and Marc got married at the Omni Shoreham Hotel on one of the most beautiful days of early May. We always love this venue for weddings. The gazebo is an apt focal point for ceremonies, with Rock Creek Park making it seem like such a hidden oasis amidst our city. Jon and Marc each wore tailored dark suits, with a simple and masculine white mini-calla lily accented with bear grass for boutonnieres. They made simple stunning choices for a modern Omni Shoreham wedding.
The ceremony took place at the gazebo, where two of Marc’s family tall it were strung above the couple as a canopy. Garlands of lemon leaf foliage wound around the two front poles of the structure, which otherwise reflected the modern Omni Shoreham wedding style the couple chose. The traditional Jewish ceremony was full of warmth and love. Our favorite part was both grooms smashing the glass! Is this a look of euphoria or what?!
Following the ceremony, a modern Omni Shoreham wedding reception took place in the Diplomat Ballroom. Three tall, square glass vases were centered on the escort card table, each holding submerged stems of calla lilies, French tulips, and orchids. For the dinner tables, modern designs in white alternated between square vases with submerged stems of cymbidium orchids topped with a floating candles, and tall, elegant sprays of open-cut callas and dendrobium orchids.
