It’s no secret that we love small wedding. Jennifer and Douglas’ wedding was just that, and even more! There are couples that you just hit it off with, and aside from the floral discussion, we discovered we had so much in common, what with world travels and inspiration from other countries. Jennifer wanted to keep a fairly classic palette of whites and greens with accents of plum, but at the same time, the couple wanted their Mediterranean-Inspired Morrison House wedding to infuse element reminiscent of Morocco, where they would be moving after the wedding. We used olive leaf with fruit on the branch (Yes! There were real olives in the arrangements!) as well as touches of rosemary for a nod to the tastes of the region. Jennifer’s bridal bouquet featured white dahlia, roses, lisianthus and stock, accented with plum ranunculus and the aforementioned olive leaf and rosemary.
The reception took place at the newly renovated Morrison House. We love the intimate dining room!
For the Mediterranean-Inspired Morrison House wedding reception, gold cylinder vases held lush, textured designs of white and ivory roses and spray roses, hydrangea, stock, lisianthus and dahlia accented with plum ranunculus, olive leaf, and rosemary. If you look closely, you can spy an olive or two on the branch.
