Hay Adams Wedding

Hay Adams Wedding

Wedding couple post in front of Washington monument

Chrissy and Warren’s Hay Adams wedding was the definition of a glamorous. With its timeless palette of black tuxedos and bridesmaids’ gowns and lavish white flowers, all against the backdrop of our nation’s capital, it was undoubtedly an event to remember!

For Chrissy, we designed an elegant, French hand-tied bridal bouquet in classic whites and ivories. White garden roses, ivory Vendela roses, white ranunculus, and white lisianthus were wrapped in ivory double-faced satin ribbon in a crisscross design.

Each of her bridesmaids carried lush, French hand-tied bouquets of Vendela roses, wrapped with black satin ribbon.

Warren’s boutonniere showcased a flawless white rose accented with artful loops of bear grass. For the remaining boutonnieres, we created a similar style with ivory spray roses accented with bear grass.

At the couple’s Hay Adams wedding reception, we festooned the tables with a mix of two striking glamorous wedding centerpiece designs. Half the tables featured a tall, glass pilsner-style vase topped with a gorgeous, rounded design of white hydrangea, white stock, ivory roses and spray roses, and white lisianthus finished with draping accents of white phalaenopsis orchids. Soft candlelight twinkled from the six stemmed glass containers of varying heights, each with a floating candle.

The remaining tables were adorned with a tall, crystal candelabra, anchored by a trio of lush designs of white hydrangea and white roses and garden roses, each displayed in a gold-rimmed cylinder vase.

Special thanks to Chrissy and Warren for including us as part of such a magical event – best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.

A night of mystery and masquerade — and the perfect way to fête the 10th anniversary of The Scout Guide Alexandria and the launch of Vol. 10! ✨

We loved adding our signature touch of floral drama to this year’s launch party at the Hotel Heron. From a moody and dramatic entrance piece to a flower-filled car, sculptural arrangements on cocktail tables and elevated bar arrangements casting feathered shadows and moody textures, this event let us play in a world of whimsy and wonder.

We’re proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Supporting local means investing in the makers, doers, and dreamers who make Alexandria vibrant — and The Scout Guide does just that, beautifully. Cheers to Vol. 10! Special thanks to Sarah and Claire for always being so supportive and encouraging.
