Glamorous Westin Georgetown Wedding

Glamorous Westin Georgetown Wedding

Manzanita branch with orchids

We love a wedding with modern sensibilities and clean lines, and Aaron and JaRel’s wedding was just that. From the stylish attire to the classic glam wedding reception, the wedding radiated a masculine glamour. The glamorous Westin Georgetown ceremony took place in the outdoor courtyard of the Westin Georgetown. Spare on floral decor, the ceremony embraced the architecture of the site. Each of the grooms wore a simple boutonniere designed using a white mini-calla lily. Simple corsages were fashioned for the groomswomen using a white phalaenopsis orchid on a bright blue ribbon.

The escort card table featured a dramatic manzanita branch seated in a lush bed of white hydrangea finished with white cymbidium orchids and white mini-calla lilies. Talk about a glamorous Westin Georgetown wedding! White phalaenopsis orchids draped elegantly from the branches. The reception tables in the ballroom were each dressed in an elegant silver gray pintuck linen. Across the ballroom, the tables alternated between tall and low designs of white flowers, each design further accented with candles. For half of the tables, an architectural design of white open-cut calla lilies accented with sprays of white dendrobium orchids emerged from a lush collar of white hydrangea. Glass-enclosed pillar candles stood in an open triangle at the foot of the design. The balance of tables featured glass cube vases with mounds of white hydrangea and white mini-calla lilies. Stemmed glass containers of varying heights added a romantic, candlelit touch. For the sweetheart table, white hydrangea accented with garlands of white dendrobium and draping phalaenopsis orchid stems graced the front of the table.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
