Georgetown Pride Wedding

Georgetown Pride Wedding

Tesia and Tim expressed so much of their Georgetown pride in their wedding. Now Connecticut residents, the couple returned to where they met as students. The day included an intimate ceremony at Georgetown’s Dahlgren Chapel. A reception followed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. It was, in fact, no accident that the wedding fell on Georgetown’s homecoming weekend! First look took place, in fact in front of the bright blue house the bride lived in while in school.

To realize the romantic palette of navy, light pink, gray and sea foam green, we used an array of garden roses, hydrangea, dahlia, stock, mini-calla lilies, dusty miller, brunea pods and succulents across the wedding. Tesla’s bouquet featured gray succulents and dusty miller, a cool hue reminiscent of Georgetown’s colors, while the bridesmaids’ dresses brought in the Georgetown blue.
