Urban Rustic District Winery Wedding

Urban Rustic District Winery Wedding

Same sex couple on staircase at District Winery wedding venue

Peter and Timothy’s unforgettable District Winery wedding reception was well represented by their inspiration words: urban. simple. rustic. We’re excited to share the stunning details and heartfelt moments that made their celebration at District Winery truly remarkable.

We started by designing elegant boutonnieres for the grooms featuring white ranunculus blossoms accented with eucalyptus foliage. The remaining boutonnieres showcased clutches of olive leaf, all banded with black ribbon. The groomsmaids carried lush, French hand-tied bouquets of white roses and lisianthus, adorned with eucalyptus foliage and wrapped in lavender satin ribbon.

Enhancing the District Winery ceremony space, we placed two lush arrangements atop rustic wine barrels. These captivating designs featured a blend of white hydrangea, stock, roses, spray roses, and Queen Anne’s lace, accented by lemon leaf and various eucalyptus varieties. Touches of smilax created drape and movement.

A touch of smilax foliage adorned the welcome sign and seating chart, creating an inviting atmosphere as guests entered the District Winery wedding reception. Sprigs of Italian ruscus added a natural touch to each place setting.

A luxurious design of smilax foliage graced the staircase, creating an elegant and romantic focal point. Subtle fairy lights added a touch of magic, guiding guests to the upstairs area.

To set a magical ambiance above the dance floor, we crafted a lush design of hearty southern smilax foliage, providing an organic wow factor. Delicate fairy lights nestled within the greenery added an enchanting touch. Additional strands of greenery adorned the bar area, enhancing its charm.

Peter and Timothy’s District Winery wedding reception captivated with its simple urban and rustic charm. From the stylish boutonnieres and bouquets to the breathtaking ceremony and reception floral arrangements, every detail wove together seamlessly. We’re honored to have been part of their special day, creating unforgettable moments at District Winery.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
