Are you looking for a design studio in which to create floral decor for you or your client’s event? Do you need walk in floral cooler space to store your floral designs?

Petal’s Edge Floral Design has design space and walk in floral coolers available for half day, full day and multiple day rental. With 14′ ceilings, our design studio is perfect for floral decor creation for projects of many sizes. Whether you are a professional designer or just need some a design space rental for a DIY project, we have the space and storage to make your project happen seamlessly.

Our studio is located on street level with large windows. There are ample street parking, garage parking, and we are located within walking distance of the Braddock Road metro station. The studio is easily accessible and temperature controlled for comfort. Available design space rental amenities include:

  • 3-4 individual 3×4′ work tables with shelving / storage
  • Aluminum work table
  • Work tools such as knives, glue pans and heat guns
  • 8x12x14′ walk in floral cooler
  • Small reach in cooler
  • Studio wifi connection

Included with any design space rental is sink, waste disposal, and restroom.

Conveniently located in Old Town Alexandria, just outside Washington, DC, the design studio is located within walking distance of the Braddock Road metro station and a few blocks from Rte. 1 as well as Washington Street / George Washington Parkway. Theres something about September that always feels like a turning point. The days are still warm, but the morning is a bit cooler. School is back in session. The light starts to change. And after a long DC summer, you do all get that first day when you can open the door and think, yes, fall really is coming. 🍁

For me fall has always been tied to the rhythm of the school year. Kids going back to school and calendars filling up. Pulling sweaters out of the back of the closet, and thinking about Halloween before you’re quite ready to admit summer is over.

In the studio, autumn has another rhythm. September and October weddings - arguably our busiest time of the year - paired with all sorts of fun things. Pods, berries, grasses and all sorts of funky things.

I think there’s a reason fall weddings always feel so right. It’s a season built around change. The landscape shifts, the light softens, the year begins winding down… and in the midst of that, two people choose to begin something.

Maybe that’s what I love about this time of year. Autumn can feel nostalgic and hopeful at the same time. So here’s to another fall wedding season, changing leaves, cooler nights (no mosquitoes), celebrations and all the new beginnings still ahead.

  1. Hi there! I own a small local floral design business (C Street Florals) and am designing for a client’s wedding on Saturday, August 15. I was wondering if it would be possible to rent some design space for August 12-14 and then would load out to the venue on the 15th? I wouldn’t need much space, maybe just 1-2 tables and enough cooler room for just one bouquet! I know it’s peak wedding season so the space might not be available…just let me know 🙂
