Organic Elegance for City Tavern Club Wedding
Lauren and Chris’ summer wedding in Georgetown was an inspiring example of organic elegance. Inspired by nature, the City Tavern Club wedding used a palette of green, gold and white, Lauren’s timeless bridal bouquet featured using ivory garden roses, Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white stock and white lisianthus finished with a mix of dusty miller, silver dollar eucalyptus, parvifolia eucalyptus, and seeded eucalyptus. For Lauren’s bridesmaids, we created a grouping of Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white stock and white lisianthus finished with a mix of dusty miller, silver dollar, parvifolia and seeded eucalyptus – each a simpler and smaller version of the bridal bouquet. For Chris, the handsome groom, we furnished a boutonniere centered on an ivory rose accented with eucalyptus. The remaining boutonnières incorporated a white lisianthus blossom accented with eucalyptus.
City Tavern Club Ceremony
Lauren and Chris’ breathtaking chuppah for their City Tavern Club wedding epitomized organic elegance. The custom-designed structure was inspired by trees. Four birch bark poles and crosspieces were overlaid with a combination of curly willow and camellia branches. The result reflected nature’s drama. A highlight of the intimate ceremony was Chris serenading his bride.
Elegant Wedding Reception
At the couple’s City Tavern Club wedding reception included a mix of designs in the classic ballroom. Guest tables were displayed a gold pedestal bowl, filled with a lush, textured design of white hydrangea, white stock, ivory roses and spray roses, and white lisianthus accented with a mix of seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar, and parvifolia eucalyptus. Lauren, Chris and their wedding party were seated at a gorgeous head table festooned with tall fluted glass vases, topped with a lush and organic design of foliages. A mix of lemon leaf, silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, camellia and myrtle foliages were accented with green viburnum for an array of greens. A rich array of glass enclosed pillar candles and elevated floating candles, along with glass vases for the bouquets, finished the tablescape. As a finishing touch for Lauren’s and Chris’ classic white wedding cake, we tucked clusters of white garden roses, white lisianthus, and wedding greens amidst each sweet tier.
Cheers to the newlyweds, and best wishes for many years of love!
