A chuppah is the wedding canopy beneath which a Jewish couple exchanges their vows for the ceremony. Traditionally, the couple is joined beneath the structure by the rabbi and their parents. The chuppah represents the couple’s new home, symbolized by four poles to outline the structure and a cloth covering. Sometimes a tallit is used as the cloth covering or added to an existing canopy. It is a beautiful way to honor tradition and create a focal point for the ceremony. There are countless ways to create the chuppah of your dreams – from classically draped structures to birch, bamboo or copper pipe poles to flower-covered designs. We’ve showcased some of our favorite stunning chuppahs in our collection.
