Francesca and James, known for their annual tradition of attending the ICE! show, decided to infuse their December wedding with the same festive spirit. The enchanting Gaylord National Resort was the perfect choice for their Christmas-themed wedding, already adorned in holiday splendor. Opting for a “Winter Wonderland” motif, the couple set the stage for a magical celebration.
Their ceremony unfolded in the resort’s atrium, radiating warmth and love. Elegant winter garland was swagged along the front of the gazebo, framing the couple’s nuptials. Francesca’s bouquet was the perfect blend of holiday red, a touch of bling, and classic love as red roses were accented with crystals. In lieu of bouquets, the bridesmaids carried fur muffs, and the flower girl held an adorable pomander ball of silver pine cones suspended from a red ribbon.
The reception followed, bathed in a rich red glow and adorned with elegant crystal chandeliers. Delicate vases brimming with glistening ornaments, coupled with silver table linens, contributed to the merry atmosphere without overwhelming the senses. As tokens of appreciation, mason jar mugs filled with the fixings for peppermint hot cocoa awaited each guest. Even the cake embraced the theme with intricate snowflake patterns and accents of vibrant red ribbon. The pièce de résistance? The endearing Santa-themed taper candles that graced the unity candle ceremony, exuding the true essence of Christmas.
Francesca and James’ Christmas-themed wedding at the Gaylord National Resort was a testament to their shared love for the holiday season. With every carefully chosen detail, they transported their guests to a winter wonderland of joy and celebration, creating memories that will forever be cherished.
