British Inspired Omni Shoreham Wedding

British inspired Wedding couple stroll on grounds of Omni Shoreham

Between Rebecca’s English roots and David’s Scottish ones, it set the scene for a British inspired wedding at the Omni Shoreham. With a palette of greens and golds throughout, the effect was as stunning as it was timeless!

Rebecca’s elegant, French hand-tied bouquet featured an array of bouquet of white Patience and O’Hara garden roses, ivory Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white lisianthus, white ranunculus, white stock, and white veronica accented with white heather, green thistle and seeded eucalyptus foliage.

Perfectly complementing Rebecca’s bridal bouquet, her beautiful bridesmaids carried their own lush bouquets of ivory Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white lisianthus, white ranunculus, white stock and white veronica accented with seeded
eucalyptus foliage.

David’s boutonnière was designed with a white lisianthus blossom, while the other men wore boutonnières of white ranunculus. All were finished with green thistle and seeded eucalyptus foliage.

For the smallest members of the wedding party, we created their own special designs, perfectly to scale! The couple’s three sweet flower girls were crowned with charming wreaths of ivory spray roses, white heather and seeded eucalyptus, and carried delicate posies of the same blooms as the bridesmaids’ bouquets. The handsome ring bearer proudly showed off a miniature boutonnière in the same style as the groomsmen.

Rebecca’s and David’s church ceremony truly looked like something out of a storybook wedding. The outside railings on either side of the church doors were draped with eucalyptus garland accented with white wedding flowers.

Inside the church, both sides of the aisle were decorated with British inspired wedding decor. Lush pew posies consisting of ivory roses, white stock, ivory spray roses, and white dendrobium orchids accented with draping touches of ivy. At the altar, two striking arrangements featured white hydrangea, white gladiola, white stock, white delphinium, white snapdragons, and roses in white and ivory hues. Further accents of cocculus, salal,  and draping touches of ivy complemented  the arrangements with texture.

At the hotel, guests were greeted at the reception by a charming welcome sign artfully draped in Smilax foliage. The couple’s unique lucite table assignment display was finished with a spray of eucalyptus and smilax foliage and white wedding flowers, as well as a grouping of candles and greenery in the bottom corner.

For the cocktail reception on the patio, each table featured a golden mint julep cup, filled with a simple, soft arrangement of white hydrangea and white lisianthus accented with
green ivy.

In the Diplomat Room, dinner tables featured one of two distinct centerpieces. One design was anchored with a tall, pilsner glass vas topped with a lush, rounded design of white hydrangea, white stock, ivory roses and spray roses, white lisianthus, white heather and green thistle, with touches of lemon leaf and eucalyptus foliage. Three elevated glass stands with floating candles sparkled at the base. further complemented by five cut glass votives.

The second centerpiece design showcased a richly textured arrangement of white hydrangea, white stock, ivory roses and spray roses, white lisianthus, white veronica, white heather and green thistle accented with seeded eucalyptus foliage. Three elevated stands, each with a floating candle, formed an open triangle around the arrangement, with five cut glass square votives added for interest. Sprigs of Italian ruscus foliage peeked out from each place setting.

Rebecca, David, and their wedding party were seated at a spectacular head table adorned with two long, gold eared compotes, filled with a lush design of rich greens of eucalyptus,
ruscus and lemon leaf. Loosely layered among the greenery was a mix of garden roses, Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white stock, white veronica, and white lisianthus, finished with touches of heather and thistle. Gold-rimmed Elsa vases contained the bridesmaids’ bouquets. For a sweet finishing touch, we crowned the couple’s wedding cake tiers with cascading greenery and wedding flowers.

We loved all the thoughtful touches at Rebecca’s and David’s elegant British inspired wedding, and we thank them for having us as part of their big day!

While December tends to be a low volume time for weddings, we love the range of things we have gotten to do, from inviting the community into our studio for wreath workshops to helping businesses and hotels decorate with garland, trees and more for the holidays. Do you have a favorite way to decorate?

We will be closing soon for a much needed holiday break. See you in the new year!

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
