Vintage was the word of the day for Gretchen and Tom’s wedding, and Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg is the perfect place for such a look. The Birkby House wedding ceremony, held in the back garden, used the site’s wrought iron arch as a centerpiece. Every once and a while we have an event where the design comes together so perfectly – and the couple is so happy and are such lovely people – that instead of just wanting to go home and have a drink after setting up, we want to stay for the wedding. This was one of those weddings.

Gretchen supplied all of the assorted containers for the reception florals for her Birkby House wedding, mostly flea market finds, and family heirlooms, giving it that personal touch that so many people are looking for in their weddings. Bright shades of peach, coral, and pink were a perfect compliment to a warm, end of the summer event.

We love a ceremony moment that makes jaws drop—and Jasmine & Edmond`s wedding at Lansdowne Resort did not disappoint.✨ We framed the aisle with lush florals and stately columns to create the dreamiest walk for our bride and to frame the couple. For the reception, we went all in with tall centerpieces featuring hanging orbs, low lush designs, and the soft flicker of candles tucked into gold geometric terrariums. Soft, glowing, and full of movement—just the kind of floral story we love telling from aisle to afterparty.⁣

A night of mystery and masquerade — and the perfect way to fête the 10th anniversary of The Scout Guide Alexandria and the launch of Vol. 10! ✨

We loved adding our signature touch of floral drama to this year’s launch party at the Hotel Heron. From a moody and dramatic entrance piece to a flower-filled car, sculptural arrangements on cocktail tables and elevated bar arrangements casting feathered shadows and moody textures, this event let us play in a world of whimsy and wonder.
