Autumn Flowers: It’s time for a shop update!
With autumn right around the corner, we’re saying goodbye to summer hues: bright vibrant colors as rich as the days are long, and cool hues that remind us of rainy afternoons. And we’re saying hello to the flavors of fall with our autumnal flowers palette: plums & burgundies, buttery golds & mustards, and oranges & chocolates. We’ve also refreshed our neutral color palette to better reflect the changing of the seasons.
Kumquat, Kale & Cocoa
Set into a birch bark pot, this design features fluffy light green hydrangea with hypericum berries and eucalyptus bringing in texture. Cymbidium orchids play up the orange roses and the pops of burgundy in the heart of the orchid pop against the smokebush foliage. Finally, an artichoke in green or burgundy adds an element of surprise. With the blooms overflowing the edges, you get a sense of abundance.
We love this design because it clearly conveys a sense of time and place – it’s Fall! – without a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
Sunlight & Shadows
Soft buttery yellows and deeper golds contrast with burgundy smokebush foliage in this well-balanced autumn flowers design. Here we’ve tucked large roses and rudbeckia into a base of white hydrangea, with a couple of touches of bouncy orlaya giving the design a hit of nature’s lace. Choose this design when you want to a visual impact and interest.
Coffee & Cream
Set into a shiny gold cube, we love this design for its versatility – it will fit with most any décor. Large white Phalaenopsis orchids grab your attention, while the hydrangeas give your eyes a place to rest. Blush and toffee roses round out the color palette, while pops of brown scabiosa and white astilbe add interesting textures. The umbrella fern adds a lively green and lushness to the design.
Bud Vase Collection
This delightful collection of clear glass bud vases is a super versatile way to add pops of color into your home. Here we’ve used burgundy and lavender roses with some pale green and burgundy foliages for texture. Be sure to keep the water looking sparkling fresh.
