When Daniela and Mark’s initial wedding plans were disrupted due to COVID-19 restrictions, like many couples, they rescheduled for a later date. But honoring their initial wedding date, they decided to get married anyway! Their Alexandria elopement took place at the Basilica of Saint Mary here in Old Town this past May. While the crowd was smaller, their nearest and dearest were in attendance for the intimate wedding. After being effectively closed for a few months, we were more than excited and ready to assist with flowers for the nuptials!
Rather than duplicate the initial floral scheme, Daniella chose instead a spring palette of romantic pastels. The classic cascade bouquet was designed using a blend of pale beige Sandy, mauve pink Faith, and pale lavender Luminous roses, ivory majolica spray roses, and finished with ruscus, eucalyptus and wispy asparagus fern foliage. Not to be forgotten, we designed a matching boutonniere for Mark.
We offer our heartfelt congratulations on your Alexandria elopement, and can’t wait for the big celebration!
