Romantic Spring Wedding at 2941 Restaurant

Bridal and bridesmaid bouquets with peonies for 2941 restaurant spring wedding

Spring weddings always carry a sense of renewal and romance, and Emma and Charlie’s wedding at 2941 Restaurant in Falls Church, VA, was no exception. With lush pink peonies in full bloom, an elegant mix of high and low centerpieces, and a serene ceremony at the Old Presbyterian Meeting House, it was a truly breathtaking day.

A Timeless Ceremony in Old Town Alexandria

Emma and Charlie’s day began with a beautiful ceremony at the historic Old Presbyterian Meeting House in Old Town Alexandria, VA. The sanctuary is a charming and intimate space that set the perfect tone for a heartfelt ceremony. Classic white arrangements of flowers flanked the altar, complementing the natural beauty of the space without overwhelming its timeless architecture. The bride carried a stunning bouquet of pink peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus, while the bridesmaids held smaller, coordinating bouquets in classic white – a contrast to their patterned pink dresses – that tied the look together beautifully.

A Stunning Reception at 2941 Restaurant

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to 2941 Restaurant, a hidden gem in Falls Church, VA, known for its picturesque lakeside views, tranquil koi pond, and modern elegance. With its floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary design, the space provided the perfect backdrop for a spring wedding reception filled with natural light and fresh blooms.

Blush & White Floral Elegance

For the reception, we designed an elegant mix of tall and low centerpieces in soft shades of pink and white to create visual interest throughout the room. The taller arrangements featured a rich mix of hydrangea, campanula, stock, snapdragons and roses, drawing the eye upward and adding grandeur to the space. The lower centerpieces, designed in delicate compotes, included roses, lisianthus, and ranunculus, keeping the garden aesthetic of the flowers. Each table was draped in soft ivory linens, allowing the flowers to be the star of the show and complementing the romantic spring aesthetic.

A Picture-Perfect Spring Celebration

With the sun setting over the water, the newlyweds danced the night away under the soft glow of candlelight. As guests toasted to love and new beginnings, the fragrance of fresh peonies filled the air — a true celebration of spring in all its beauty.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
