The magnificent, Beaux Arts building was the perfect modern backdrop for Sarah and Adam’s spring Union Station wedding. Sarah’s lush bouquet of stunning green lady slipper orchids, green-white parrot tulips, white mini-calla lilies, and white ranunculus was accented with whimsical ferns. The bridesmaids carried green bouquets of maidenhair fern, camelia, umbrella fern, and green-white parrot tulips. Adam’s boutonniere took a mini-calla lily from Sarah’s bouquet, while the groomsmen’s boutonnieres were a clutch of greens mimicking the bridesmaids’ bouquets.

For the spring Union Staton wedding ceremony, Sarah and Adam got married amidst a romantic chuppah of curly willow branches tucked in salal, camellia, and umbrella fern foliages accented with green dendrobium orchids and green roses.

With it’s elevated ceiling and grand space, the architecture of East Hall lent itself to dramatic table arrangements. Greeting guests at the escort card table was a design dripping with white phalaenopsis orchids. A trio of designs distinguished the spring Union Station wedding. Tall, fluted vase arrangements of deep green foliage complemented low of lush greenery and modern orchid arrangements, while tall gladiolas provided an unexpected flair.

Rainy wedding weekends just hit different. Blue patterned linens, chinoiserie vases, garden inspired blooms in shades of peach, white, green, and blue, plus bridesmaids in the prettiest soft blue created a design that felt equal parts timeless and romantic. We were so honored to help celebrate the launch of Vol. 11 of The Scout Guide Alexandria and toast the exciting next chapter under new owner Kerry Delaney at the beautiful Jula’s on the Potomac.
We leaned all the way into the St. Barth’s theme, with a cascading floral piece in the entry to set the tone as guests arrived. A daisy-filled installation over the bar brought that effortless island charm. Baskets overflowing with lemons and olive foliage added a French Caribbean warmth throughout the space, and touches of yellow kept everything feeling sun-drenched and joyful.

We’re so proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Supporting local means investing in the makers, doers, and dreamers who make Alexandria vibrant — and The Scout Guide does just that, beautifully.

The theme pulled from St. Bart’s energy, so of course yellow had to lead the conversation. Butter yellow, citrus tones, sun-soaked florals… this palette is absolutely having a moment right now. Creating this outdoor floral wall felt like building a little burst of summer before anyone even stepped inside, and honestly, the whole night was just so fab. ☀️💛
