Coral and Blush Dreams
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Washington DC, the Kimpton Hotel Monaco played host to a wedding that was nothing short of a floral fantasy. Coral, blush, and terra cotta hues set the stage for Renate and Trevor’s unforgettable day, beautifully orchestrated with touches of whites and greens.
Renate’s bouquet was a captivating cascade of elegance, featured coral and orange Cafe au Lait dahlias, peach Juliet garden roses, Coral Dark Xpression, and burnt orange Coffee Break roses. Ivory spray roses and peach ranunculus added softness, while accents of white stock, eucalyptus, jasmine vine, and flowering stephanotis vine brought a lush, green vitality. Echoing the bride’s floral textures, each bridesmaid carried a simpler, yet equally stunning bouquet. Primarily in white hues, these arrangements featured white roses, lisianthus, and stock, complemented by eucalyptus foliage and wrapped in pewter satin ribbon.
Dramatic Ceremony Decor
Flanking the ceremony area were dramatic arrangements on pedestals of graduated heights, creating a breathtaking visual frame. A dramatic installation of hearty southern smilax foliage scaled up the columns in the rotunda, providing a focal point for the ceremony and reception. The escort card table boasted a tall fluted glass vase, topped with a vibrant mix of olive leaf and Italian ruscus foliage, accented by coral and orange snapdragons.
Tablescapes of Elegance and Simplicity
For the reception, one-third of the tables featured simple yet expressive olive leaf designs, surrounded by glass cylinders with floating candles. The rest showcased gold compotes with lush, organic arrangements of eucalyptus, olive leaf foliage, coral dahlias, Juliet, Pink Xpression, and Coral Dark Xpression garden roses, ivory spray roses, peach hypericum berries, and white stock. Red-orange butterfly ranunculus added a whimsical touch.
Sweetheart Table: A Romantic Centerpiece
The sweetheart table was a romantic highlight, adorned with a garland of ruscus foliage draping gracefully down both sides. A vase was reserved for the bridal bouquet, ensuring that the couple’s table was a focal point of beauty and love.
